The Jet Express began its Ferry Service in 1989 from Port Clinton, Ohio traveling to Downtown Put-in-Bay. It became known for its reliable, high-speed, and late-night service to this lively island. The Jet Express Ferry Service has grown to 4 Jet Express Ferries from the Ports of Port Clinton, Sandusky, and Lorain, servicing the Islands of Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island) and Kelleys Island off the north shore of Ohio in Lake Erie.
